MEOCS Energy Monitoring
The MEOCS Energy Monitoring system's main function is to send SMS alerts in case of power outages and restorations, whether at the distribution panel or specific outlets. Ideally, the application runs in the foreground, but even when minimized, it continues monitoring in the background, emitting audible alerts and sending SMS messages to a pre-registered phone number, alternating the screen color between red and green for easier viewing. As prerequisites, the smartphone must have a GSM chip installed and be constantly connected to the charger. The system can be used in various applications, from monitoring the power supply to security cameras, ventilation equipment for the elderly, cold storage chambers, refrigerated gondolas, server power supply, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), marine aquariums, or simply installed near the main electrical distribution panel. In case of a prolonged power outage, MEOCS will continue monitoring and sending SMS messages periodically, using the smartphone's battery as its primary power source. The system's objective is to reduce the risk of incidents and financial losses resulting from poor energy supply management by the utility company. Languages: English and Portuguese.
